Imagine the life of a woman with autonomy over her body, the freedom to learn, full access to healthcare, and the power to shape her future. Consider a world where opportunities abound, where women and their needs are actively included in the design of new technology. A world where all women, everywhere, can flourish.
Unfortunately, this reality remains out of reach for too many women and girls.
UNFPA, the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency, is committed to gender equality and empowering women, girls, and young people to take control of their bodies and their futures in more than 150 countries globally.
The following is an invitation to imagine a whole new world – a world for women, by women, and with women.
UNFPA proudly presents Cecilie Waagner Falkenstrøm’s latest digital art series, a fusion of 3D technology and generative AI inspired by 50 years of UNFPA’s photo archives. This visionary work invites viewers to immerse themselves in a world crafted for women by design, where the principles of equity and empowerment are paramount.
Falkenstrøm takes us on a visual journey and challenges us to envision a future where all women and girls can thrive. In this imagined world, women’s joy and well-being are the ultimate measures of success.
