Evaluation thematic brief on gender mainstreaming at UNFPA

The Evaluation Office is developing enhanced knowledge products from evaluations to support informed decision-making towards the delivery of the UNFPA strategic plan, 2022-2025.
A new thematic brief on gender mainstreaming at UNFPA captures 10 insights from the first evaluation of UNFPA support to gender equality and women’s empowerment (2012-2020), across development, humanitarian and peace contexts. In addition to gender mainstreaming, the evaluation also provides evidence to strengthen UNFPA systems and processes to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment and UNFPA work under the dedicated gender outcome.
