Celebrate, Build, Accelerate: ICPD30 Intergenerational Feminist Dialogue

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD30), UNFPA is delighted to invite you to the opening of an intergenerational feminist dialogue under the theme Celebrate, Build, Accelerate. This will take place from 4:00 to 5:30 pm on Thursday 14 March 2024 at the Scandinavia House.

The dialogue will open with a spoken word poetry performance by Mahogany Browne.  A video will introduce the Courage Chronicles oral history project, featuring women who transformed the global agenda. This will be followed by a panel discussion with young feminists and key leaders behind the three decades of achievements made possible by the ICPD Programme of Action.

You are invited to continue the celebration and conversation at a reception which will run from 5:30 to 7:00pm. This ICPD30 intergenerational feminist dialogue is an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of leaders involved in the ICPD, to acknowledge the leadership of younger feminists, to honor intergenerational learning and dialogue, and to strategize on new ways to advance the ICPD agenda.
