UNFPA and Organon share a vision of powering a world where the health of women and girls is prioritized and fulfilled across their lifetime. The partnership aims to accelerate progress towards the sustainable development goals and reduce unplanned pregnancies globally, with a particular focus on young people. The global collaboration represents a portfolio of approaches in three areas: innovation, access and education, and sustainability and financing.

The Safe Delivery App (SDA) developed by the Maternity Foundation is an application that provides skilled birth attendants with direct and instant access to evidence-based and up-to-date clinical guidelines, supporting their everyday work. The Maternity Foundation and UNFPA, with the support of Organon, is working to prototype a frontier technology solution for the SDA so healthcare workers in low resource settings can access the app with real-time data flows.

Organon is also supporting and involved with the Coalition for Reproductive Justice in Business, UNFPA’s Equity 2030 Alliance, and the Coalition for Women’s Health in Africa.
