A world for women, by women: Infinite possibilities

10 - 15 April 2025

United Nations Headquarters Lobby, Gallery A, New York (visitor pass required)

UNFPA, the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency, presents "Infinite Woman, Infinite Possibilities," an exhibition celebrating the resilience and empowerment of women and girls worldwide.

In collaboration with award-winning artist Cecilie Waagner Falkenstrøm, this digital art series envisions a future in which women thrive without barriers, blending 3D technology and AI with archival images to explore progress, strength and boundless potential.

From young girls mastering self-defense in refugee camps to midwives supporting women in crisis zones, from digital activists fighting online violence to Indigenous women shaping their reproductive futures, each image tells a powerful story of transformation and hope.

Achieving gender equality and securing women’s rights – including sexual and reproductive health and autonomy – are essential to sustainable development. Yet, for too many, progress has stalled.

A better future is possible, but only if everyone, everywhere, is empowered with rights, choices and opportunities.
