On 20 October, 2016, UNFPA launched its 2016 State of World Population report, 10: How our future depends on a girl at this decisive age.
Age 10 is the beginning of adolescence, when girls start to see life's possibilities expanding – or contracting. Whether these girls are given the ability to fulfil their potential will help determine whether the world is able to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
