In December 2021, UNFPA introduced the Equalizer, UNFPA Innovation Accelerator Fund that provides new funding and financing options to reimagine delivery of programmes and support innovations geared towards accelerating progress for women and girls.
This virtual, high-level roundtable with Member States, industry experts, thought leaders, entrepreneurs and global advocates to further leverage new strategic opportunities around high-impact solutions that advance the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals and a world with zero unmet need for family planning, zero preventable maternal deaths and zero gender-based violence and harmful practices.
Hosted by Executive Director Dr. Natalia Kanem, the roundtable is a platform for an interactive dialogue on ways to remove barriers between women and girls and their rights and choices.
The event will air on Tuesday, 1 February, 9:00-10:30 EST. It will be broadcast in English and will also provide Spanish and French translation, as well as a sign-language interpreter.
